Why donate to Polycreek?
Grooming is a problem of speed. Predators move faster than human moderators can read, and most harm happens in the gap. Your gift pays for the thing that closes that gap: detection that runs in real time, built by a nonprofit that answers to children rather than to shareholders.
The problem we are funding against
Reports of online child exploitation now arrive faster than any review team can process them. Grooming in particular is hard to catch, because it does not look like abuse at the start. It looks like attention, flattery, and patience, spread over days or weeks, in ordinary-looking messages.
That is exactly the kind of pattern a model can learn to see. Aletheia, our detection system, reads a conversation the way an experienced investigator would: not one message at a time, but as an arc. It flags the arc early, while there is still time to intervene.
Building and running that is not free. Training costs compute. Serving it costs infrastructure. Keeping it accurate costs ongoing research and evaluation. That is what donations pay for.

Protection should not depend on budget
The platforms where grooming happens are not always the ones that can afford safety tooling. Smaller communities, forums, and games are often the least protected. Donations let us serve them.
We do not monetize children's data
We do not retain conversation content by default, we do not build profiles of children, and we do not sell or share data. There is no advertising model here to pull us in a different direction.
Our incentives stay pointed at accuracy
A false negative means a child was missed. A false positive means someone was wrongly flagged. Both matter, and neither is a growth metric. We tune for the child, not for engagement.
Giving with confidence
